I have a networked HP LaserJet 5N that intermittently prints from Word in a "superscript" format. Superscript is NOT selected in the font format yet the characters will superscript (it appears to be all but the first character of each word.) It does not happen all of the time so I can not consistently recreate the problem. It will happen using the HP5 driver when the printer resides on a Novell 3.12 server and also using the HP5 driver when the printer resides on a 4.0 NT server. It seems to only happen from 1 specific user's machine. I tried reinstalling Office 97, and reinstalling the printer driver on this machine but it is still occurring. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Suelew if you have the PCL driver installed try installing the post scritp (PS) driver or visa versa. Good luck.

I HAVE AN OLD HP SUPERSCRIPT 860 PRINTER THAT IS GIVING ME A PROBLEM. I HAVE DONE ALL OF THE USER'S GUIDE MAINTENANCE SUGGESTIONS AND HAVE INSTALLED A NEW TONER CARTRIDGE, BUT THERE IS ABOUT A HALF INCH ALONG THE LEFT MARGIN THAT DOES NOT PRINT. CAN YOU SUGGEST SOMETHING?

THANKS,

HAPPYJACK
