We needed to power down the Solaris 2.6 box because of a power outage. Now restarted, whenever we do a
lp -d'printername' 'report' the cursor hangs and nothing returns.... hence nothing is printing. I stopped and restarted lp (lpstop/lpsched) to no avail. As well, I did S80lp stop and S80lp start to no avail. Anything you can think of that I am missing? I configured the printers using hppi (jetadmin) but even that hangs. It's like there is an OS problem keeping even jetadmin from doing it's job. Help! Thanks!

I figured it out guys. Wanted to let you konw. Since the power outage, I couldn't get our NIS master up and running (still down) so therefore, since the box in question couldn't connect to it, it wouldn't print. I removed it from NIS alltogether and everything is printing once again!!
