Printing hands Windows 2000???

we upgraded to client version 6.x from 4.x we are experiencing some severe slow-downs when printing that weren't there before. We have since applied Feature Release 1 to both servers. Still the problem exists. Any ideas how to resolve this. Thanks is advance for any tips!
