I have several forms with fields with a gray BackColor (BackColor = 12632256). When I print these forms some have an even background to their gray fields (which is what I want), but others have a rastered background (black dots) which makes the text difficult to read. Apparently some parameter is diffent in the two types of forms, but I just cannot discover what. Any suggestions?

Thank you for your suggestion, but that isn't it. In all cases the fields have an even gray background in Preview view on the screen, but upon printing gray fields on some forms are printed with an even gray background, and those on others show a black raster pattern like that obtained if one sets the number of screen colours to - say - 16 colours.
