In a previous post, I asked how to print a PDF file from a comand line, I mentioned I was trying to use gs, I am pretty much done with that, at this point does anyone know how to print "any" graphics format from the sco command line (jpg, gif, tiff) anything !!! Please help ! I tried a2ps, this just produced 300 pages of garbage for 1 jpg I tried to print. Thanks in Advance.

We use Optio software to print graphical images and PCL infomration. I had been unsuccessful in trying to get SCO to print these images from the command line. I am convinced that you need some sort of graphical software to print the images.

I sell a program for SCO called MKPCL that will convert
a .BMP, .JPG, or .PCX file directly to a PCL file that
can be printed on a HP compatible LaserJet. It is also
available for DOS systems.

It uses a simple command line interface, and supports 20+
flags to modify the image; resize, lighten, darken, etc.
One flag, for example, allows the user to define max X,Y
dimensions and the program will scale the image so it fits
the defined box. So you could run it from a shell script
and automatically size a directory full of random sized
originals.
