I have inherited a network (well, the sco stuff was my former companies before them merger, now I need to get them talking) that has a linux firewall/email server, and SCO box and a win2k server machine. THe win2k server supports a windows network running great plains software. People on bothe networks log in to the sco box using termlite to run our accounting package.

I need to add some of the printers on the win2k server for people who have those printers in their office. I've added a user called vfsprint to the win2k server. Is that all I need to do other than set up the share in visionfs?

Adding users on the win2k box isn't exactly straight forward. And they complain about UNIX being confusing, lol!

There are different versions of VisionFS.
If you have version 3.x, I think you can run the following command (examples enclosed in {brackets}):

/usr/vision/bin/visionfs print --install {p4} {2kservername} {sharename} {vfsprint} {vfs-passwd}

This would add a new UNIX spooled printer "p4" which will forward the print job onto the shared printer on the Win2000 box. It has to pass a valid Username/Password pair as well.
