Printing from Indesign

When I print any document from Indesign, it prints shaded (or transparent). Printing my documents to another printer everything prints great.

Is this a preference issue? My printer prints fine with all other applications.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Indesign with no change.

Is one printer based on PostScript and the other based on PCL?
