BOE XI using .NET only.
Remote: XP sp2 using IE 6

A remote user is launching a report programmatically through a URL. The report will launch fine, however, the printing option does not work. Either the little print window will not show up or just freeze. I'm guessing there is an ActiveX restriction somewhere but I cannot find it.

Generally speaking, are there special priviledges or settings that must be set in order to print from the CrystalViewer?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
What viewer is being used?

Also check the default settings ( In the CMC) for what the default printing method is..

It can be an ActiveX print control, in which case the first time running a report that needs it, the logged in user must be an administrator or Power User on the client PC..

Be sure to also check for pop-up blockers ( Either XP SP2's default one or any installed with something like the Google toolbar..)

Thanks Turkbear. Excellent suggestions, I'll try them out.

In the CMC, her default is ActiveX. I'll check her security settings and add her as a Power User. I believe I saw that XP's pop-up blocker was enabled so I'll try that as well.

Thanks again!
