Printing from 2.6a on W2K via Novell 5.0 network

Help.

I am trying to print from a foxpro 2.6a application on windows 2000 machines on a Novell 5.0 network and only succeeding using local printers.

Using NU.bat causes the system to 'freeze' and locks the temp file

Using the queue name of the printer occassionally gets it to the spooler but then crashes with a hp error. I have tried this on HP and Tektronix printers with no success.

Is there another way other than local printing???? [sig][/sig]

A normal way of printing for older programs like FPW on Novell networks is to capture the local printer port. Then FPW prints as if going to a local printer, but it comes out on the network printer.
Or have you already tried that?
