I am having a problem with printing some forms. When I go to print them it just prints out the query, I mean it says the name of the query then prints all the rows not just the record that I was looking at on the form. Is there some value that I can change on the form to make it print the actual form? Or is there soemthing wrong with my query? Or what?

Is there a specific reason you are printing a form and not a report? It's much easier to format and print a report than a form.

As of now, yes there is a reason why I need to print the form.

dcurtis's suggestion is a good one. Forms were not meant to print (although you can), they are primarily used for input.

If you create a form to show only what you want you can then print the current record. Look at the following for an explanation.

The properties of a form can be set to screen ony for item you no not wish to be printed eg cmd button will not print if you print the form.

If I understand your initial post correctly you want the query the form is based on to return multiple rows, but when you press the print button, only print the current record (on the screen).

The easiest way to do that would be to use a command button to apply a filter using a field that would uniquely identify that record, print it, then remove the filter.

Post back if you need help w/that code.
