Hi there,

I should know this, but lately all I have been designing in is Illustrator, thereofore I'm rusty with PS. However, this time, I have designed some material in Photoshop CS. I need to do a double sided bookmark. Is it best when Im finished creating it in Photoshop (I did it in photoshop because I have a gradient path around the photo that I couldn't seem to do in Illustrator the way it worked out in Photoshop). Anyway,
will I still save all quality if I save the PSD as and EPS and do the page layout in Quark (6 bookmarks on a page)?

Please advise.

Thank you!!

I would save each bookmark image ( separate image for each side ) as a CMYK 300dpi tiff and import into Quark. The previews will look rubbish but will print out perfectly.
If you are using Q6 you have the option of viewing in hi res. Click on the Item tool or Content tool and select the image that you want displayed at full resolution. Then choose Item > Preview Resolution > Full Resolution. Wait a moment for Quark to adjust to the new setting.
