is there an easy way to print the system's file structure (folders and subfolders) contents? Appreciate any help.

Go to Applications folder/Applescript.

You'll see "Install Script Menu" double click it and it will insatll a scriptsmenu on the right side of your menu bar.

Open the System folder in list view, not columns.

Go to Script menu and Printing and select Print Window with Subfolders.

It's not working. Where do you find the Script menu to print from? Is that the same as the Script editor?

I'm only seeing the folders but not the content.

Script editor is NOT what you're looking for. Again - Applescript FOLDER - Install Scripts menu. Thats a script that installs the scrpts menu on the RIGHT side of the menu bar near clock - icon looks sort of like a scroll.

After it's installed you just select as noted in my original post.

IT WORKED!! thank you so much for you help. This will make my job easier.
