We have a few reports that are sent to an external vendor, who prints them and mails them out. These reports all fit on one page when we test them locally, but when the vendor prints them out, they get a blank 2nd page. We don't have "New Page After" checked in any of the report sections. I had read about the "No printer" option (Page Setup, Printer Options), and I was wondering if it wise to check that option since the vendor's printer and our printer are obviously different.

In my experience. If the font is not supported by the printer, it sometimes will substitute an equivalent font which may be slightly larger than what you designed the the report with. I have also noticed that for some reason, the font is slightly larger (or smaller) on other printers (don't know why). I try to make sure there is a little extra space to deal with these inconsistencies.

I hope this helps.

It can also be related to default margins on vendor printer. If they are larger than your report a blank page will result.

Also if your design is A4 and vendor has his printer defaulted as US letter blank pages will result.

If you can reduce your report to allow 1cm margins that might overcome the problem.
