I have an HP DeskJet 932C, and it prints fine except when printing things from the internet. Sometimes it will print internet content fine, but other times the screen will freeze up completely. No error messages are present. A Ctrl-Alt-Delete reveals that Spool32 is not responding. My computer then becomes extremely unstable, and needs to be restarted every time. This is getting extremely frustrating. FYI, the printer does the same thing in Netscape. The printer prints consistently well from all other programs, such as Word, Excel, and Photoshop. Anybody experienced this problem, or know how to fix it?

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, I have already tried the things listed on that site, including changing the spool settings and disabling spooling altogether.

Oddly, the problem only seems to crop up on certain websites. Some sites will print fine, while others won't. However, the results ARE consistent; one page will always print correctly while another page will always make the computer freeze up.

So despite trying everything I can think of, it's still messed up.

Thanks in advance for any future replies.

Hi,

May I know what version of IE you are using and also your Operating system..? You may update your IE just go to tools then windows update try to download any critical updates regarding your OS and update your IE version too.

Which websites..? Perhaps I may have the problem too..you never know till you try..!

Also, I assume you have tried configuring printer to "factory settings".

Try removing the font that "By Design Home" installs, BDENVER.TTF
According to Newsgroup it may solve your problem.

Thanks a ton, smitee! That font file turned out to be the culprit. Everything seems to print fine now.
