"Could not complete the print command because of a disk error" .We temporarily worked around the problem by making the user a member of the local admin group on the PC but we don't want to leave him in that group. Any ideas of how to enable the user to print using Adobe if he isn't a local admin? Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks.

Hi, Sammer,

What's the printer? PS had known problems with Epson 1270/2000P/870 USB printers.

The solution is to go into the printer properties and select the Advanced tab. Down in the bottom right hand corner is an option called "Enable advanced printing features". You need to disable this function and the printer will run correctly.

Thanks for the response. The printer is a networked HP4200. We tried printing to an HP2500C and got the same error message.

Hi, sammer,

Sounds like an access/read/write problem for the user who doesn't have sufficient privileges. That could be keys in the registry or a temporary folder.
