Printing
Hi, is there any way to print a different, say text only, file without popping up a new window?

absolutely positioned elements are looking bad when printed, and too many pages used. This is why I have chosen to have seperate print file.
At the moment I am popping up a new window which prints onLoad, then closes with the print dialogue box, but I think this looks bad, please let me know what you think.

------------------------------------------------------------
JavaScript 1.2
click on my print icon and see what I mean. I could hide the window entirely behind the dialogue box, but I can't get JavaScript 1.2 to run, it gives errors, so i can only use moveTo, which is very annoying!
Please help!
Thanks in advance
Ben

try using css 2 with the @page element
also the onbeforeprint event in javascript
