Printing Difference between W98 and W2K/XP

I have a Check printing program in procedural code. When printing the check with W98 the line prints on the correct line, however on the workstation with W2K the line is printing further down. here is the line of code.

Mwords = "One Hundred Dollars"
@ 29+3,8 say mwords

Has anyone ever seen this before?

Do you have the Manufacturer's driver installed, or are you using the one that came with win2k?

I know this does not answer your question, but most of us no longer use @ /SAY for printing. It is usually preferable to use the report writer, or, at the very least, the ? command.

If exacting printing is important to you, and all your reports are currently using @ Say, a quick way to make sure it works properly on all platforms is our program, WinPrint, which takes @ Say generated text files, let's the user preview them, and then sends them to the printer (you can force it to print immediately, too). Placement on the paper is accurate down to about 4 decimal points (in inches).
