Printing Current Date on PDF document

I have a large list of pdf document located on the company Intranet and as people go and print the documents, the current date needs to be printed. I am trying to use Adobe Acrobat 8.0 to create a javascript to do this and am not having success. I have gotten the current date to work with Acrobat 6.0, and would like to do the same with the current version. Any help on this would be great.
