Printing checks then a copy

We have a new computer and checks do not print correctly now. We need to print each check then 1 copy, then next check, then 1 copy, etc. Now they print chk chk chk, copy copy copy. Windowx XP Dynamics 9 HP 4000. Can anyone help me fix this. Thank you!
