Printing bitmaps with CDC::StretchBlt

Please help. I'm am trying to include a bitmap file in a document printed from a Visual C++ application. I have used the CDC StretchBlt function to include the bitmap on the page. The bitmap appears on the Print Preview screen but does not appear on the printed page (have tried to use multiple printers).

Please can you offer any guidance.
