I am working on an existing BCM. Is there a way that I can print what is configured in it already?

Yes there is a way to do that , but I forget how. This was a question on this forum awhile back so you may be able to find it or someone may remember how it's done and post here.

1. Login via SSH (using PuTTY)
2. Use the command line type in “f:” then “cd..” then “cd voice solution”
3. type “telinv –full”
5. Read Instructions
6. Go into the BCM under Maintenance and enable drive share for drive F$.
To retrieve the file go to the browser and type \\<IP of BCM>\DriveF$.
Then you would select Program Files and then Voice Solution and the file should be in there. Double click on it to see the printout.

telinv.exe will create a XML file that you can download by enabling the BCM drive shares. For example, if you select full the file would be invfull.xml.
If you goto F:\Program Files\Nortel Networks\Voice Solution and type (telinv) it will print a list of commands.

you can goto Maintence and enable shares
Steeef, how do you get to F:\Program Files\Nortel Networks\Voice Solution? I tried and failed. It has to be something simple but it's Monday you know.
type the following after choosing console:

f: (ENTER)
cd.. (ENTER)
cd Voice Solution (ENTER)

Saving programming records
You can create a programming file that contains the current settings of all or part of your Element Manager data. These files can be saved in either HTML or Excel spreadsheet format. You can access the programming record in the same way you access any other HTML file or by using Excel, version 2002 or later, for the spreadsheet format
