i am printing scanned photos with a bjc-620. i put four 3x5 photos on one page and try to print them. the printer will print one inch to half a page and then stop. sometimes i get the bad format message other times it just stops and the paper is ejected. any ideas???

Tough question to answer but lets start here!

Some things to check:

Does the printer work when not printing pictures e.g. can you print a word or text document?

Does the printer work when printing a single picture?

Is this a new problem or has it always existed?

Is there a print monitor software running in the background?

Are you printing from photoshop or some other software?

What do you know about the print drivers?

It sounds like your printer is having a problem with the ammount of information it has to deal with.

have a look in your printer settings and check under spooling that is should start printing immediatly.

if this is set try some of the other options.

I had a similar problem across serverl printers and this seemes to have sorted it out. Manic
