My version of Quark always places a white block or a black line in files when I go to print them Does anyone know why?.

How do I draw partial curves (127 degrees) in quark rather than have an entire circle?

These might be the registration marks. Try turning registrations off when printing. Go to the preview mode and see if it actually works

As for the partial curve, simply use the pen tool to draw one.
