I am using SNA 4.0 on a NT box with sp4 installed. I have a printer on the local domain that are using print services with no problem, however I have one 3270 LU and a printer LU on another Domain. The 3270 works great, however they can only use print screen, when I tried to use the print server with new session I located the printer in the other domain (HP 1100) and attached to LU to it. However when I click ok, it goes to manuel from automatic, and the language is arabic. and the name shows up in ascii. Any ideas please????

Get the remote IP address for the remote printer on the other domain. Create a local print queue on your SNA Server for that printer (IP address) and what every driver you plan to use. Point the lu to the local queue on your SNA server and SNA Print will print to the local queue based on it's settings. No domain issues. We have over 1000 print queues on SNA servers and we have all of the set up as local queues on the SNA servers and we have alot less problems. Also when ever possible I use Generic Text, HP3 or HP4 drivers. I think for the 1100 though that we are using the HP 1100 series driver.
