Printing a PDF document from the command line.

I would like to be able to print a PDF document from the command line and not from inside a viewer, so that I can print from a scheduled script.

Does any one know how this can be done?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Install GhostScript. It will do the work for you. There is an utility 'pdf2pcl' bundled. It can read PDF doc and send it directly to a PCL compilant printer (All HP printers)

You might also check your viewer's documentation. If it's Acrobat Reader (acroread) and want to print 8.5 by 11 inches, then you can use the information here to convert to PostScript from the command line.
