Printing a multi-page PDF file out of Illustrator

OK, so I got my tiling to show up on my huge artboard. I have one hundred 8.5"x11" tiles ready to go. If I were printing to a printer I could get these to print out no problem. I can't figure out:

How do you get Illustrator to recognize tiles as pages vis-a-vis saving a PDF file?

Will:

There is no way to save a "real" multipage file out of Illustrator, without a plugin. I believe Hotdoor has a multipage plugin for Illustrator. The best way to go, IMO, would be to use Acrobat, which is meant for just such a purpose.
