We have a Mitel SX-2000, Lightware Rel 32.
I remember doing this once long ago on a different system. For the life of me, I cannot remember how to do this now. This is what my skimpy notes say:

Using HyperTerminal

FORMPRINT <formname> /PORT LPR3 (enter)
EN P/N {turn on CAPTURE TEXT, then press...} (enter)

Back then, this procedure allowed my to collect output in a file instead of on the printer or screen.

Any helpful hints?

Thanks

OK. I got this to work on a terminal (PC) that has NO local printer attached. However, I cannot get it to work properly on any termianl (pc) with a local printer attached. The output always starts to print on the local printer.

This appears to be a Windows issue rather that a Mitel issue. If no solution is forthcoming, I will live with getting printouts on the printer-less system.

Thanks.

Not sure about Hyperterminal, but we use Procom, and to capture it there 2 things need to be done. In the setup options you can disable host printing, that way nothing is sent to the locally attached printer. Then you just open the capture feature and enter you commands as above.
