printers

im having trouble w/connecting to (2) printers that are on the network and work fine w/ the pc world.

tektronics phaser 740
hp2500cm

i do a network connections to the server then i use a remote connection at the workstation.
i do this all w/ SAM and it appears correct but the lp -dhp2500cm /etc/hosts prints nothing. this file shows in the /var/spool/lp/request/hp2500cm directory but never comes out at the printer.

any suggestions.

What is the printer attached too? Is it being filtered by this device though a print queue? [sig][/sig]

the hp2500cm does not print ( hp say's) hpgl. [sig][/sig]

Both servers need to have communications permission. Go to SAM Network Connection and review the Network Access Section. [sig][/sig]
