Printers setup

After a hard drive crash I've had to rebuild my server. I've got AIX 4.3 loaded on and everything is working for the most part except the printing. I've been setting up queues with some luck, but some formatting issues have arose.

I have 2 networked Epson printers, a LQ2080 and a LQ2180. Both are attached to an HPjetdirect print server, and I know their IP addresses, but I've been playing around adding them as queues and can't find the right driver to use, any advice?

I have the local system printer hooked up directly and it is printing, but the printer is a greenbar Mannesmann tally and everything is printing like it would on a 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of paper. I tried to change characteristics to change the Width under printer setup to more than 77, without any luck. I've also tried to extend the column # from 80 to 132 and it gives me an error of:


0782-594 The value of sw attribute falls out of bounds specified in
the range format
0782-112 1 Errors detected while validating printer attributes.
Use local problem reporting procedures.

Well I figured out the column width issue. When I first make the queue I have to make it as large as I want. It won't get bigger. I can make it smaller after it's created, but not more wide. Anyone setup any Epsons??

Through some more experimenting I've gotten a few more of the HPs to work, but they are only printing 2/3 of the width of the page, even though I have width set to 85. Using lineprinter 17 for the font, because courier 10 is showing up very large. Any ideas?
