Printers installation

I am not sure if I am in the right forum for this question but please direct me if I am not.

I upgraded my hard drive from 4 gigs to 80 gigs and re-installed windows 2k professional, everything seems to work fine.

I even downloaded and installed critical updates and patches from microsoft site.

There is, however, one problem I could not solve.

I could not get my printer to install anymore.

My printer is Cannon BJC 2000.

I tried installing it but I keep getting a message that Microsoft Digital Signature does not recognize it; as a result, the printer could not install.

Does anyone know what I need to do to get this printer installed?

The Canon web site doesn't list a BJC 2000. Look at the tag on the back (or bottom) and get the mfg model number.
