I have a user with a PC running 98SE and on several occasions he has tried to print (network printers) and his system either locks or just won't print. He also got a spool32 GPF error once, even though what he was printing did print. When I check his installed printers, either the printer icons are there but they are grayed out, or the printer icons aren't there at all. Rebooting corrects this each time, but that obviously isn't the solution. I have deleted and re-installed the printers and the drivers, and updated the drivers, but nothing has made a difference. He is always in Excel, printing from spreadsheets that reside in a user file on the server. We have a Novell server running Netware 5.1. The two printers he has installed are HP 4050 and HP 4500 (Color). He has no local printer. He only uses the 4500. Any ideas?
