When I try to print paper does not load. I have tried to print a test page from the printer's control panel without success. I have followed the userguide and xerox online. troubleshooting but with no success. The paper is correctly loaded in its tray and the 4 wheels turn but fail to grap the paper. Any help would be appreciated.

You don't say if this printer has been used or how long it has been used, so I shall assume that it "has" been used successfully in the past. I have seen this problem when a slick coating from the paper builds up on the printers rollers. I have resolved the problem by folding a piece of paper into about three thicknesses so that it is as wide as the roller, I then moisten about 1/2 inch of the end of the paper with alcohol and place it into a position so that it can be grabbed by the rollers while I issue a Page Feed command - this usually removes the coating from the roller and restores operation (repeat the process for each pickup rollers, do not allow the paper to proceed through the paper path, just hold the paper and let the roller pull aginst the paper until it rotates a full 360 degrees a couple of times).
Good luck!

Thanks David for your reply. I tries as you did but still the paper is not being loaded. The printer has been used successfully in the past though I must admit only occasionally ( a few times per week). The paper is lifted slighlty to the rollers but not enough for the wheels to capture the paper. After trying twice the machine requests to put paper in the tray. If you have any other suggestions or ideas then these would be welcome, otherwise I think the bin will be found soon.
