My printer is Epson 1290, and I got Coral Draw Select edition. Everything is fine but when I press print preview, colour changes to black instead of the design I did in blue. And prints it black.

I thought it was just something wrong with the screen, and I print but it prints black. I've checked if I didn't change setting from black to colour printing but still no change. I'm wondering if there's any other setting on Coral draw, maybe something triggered it to go that way and I don't know what.

I thought maybe something wrong with the software but I've used it for sometime and its only now its causing me problems. I went back to photoshop and it prints fine there but not coral draw, it prints only in black and I am racking my head trying to sort it for a job I'm doing.

Anyone had this problem or have any advice then I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

This is an HP forum, but your problem is probably the following:

In the printer setup for the Epsons, there's a checkbox for printing in black-and-white. It may be in the form of "Text / Photo / Mixed / Etc."

Additionally, since you're using CorelDraw, make sure you're not set to print spot overlays. Overlays will print in black, no matter what the color, because it expects them to be sent to a press for making screens.

Hope this helps.
