We have 2 printronix printers, 1 is a L5020,the other is a L5535. The L5020 is a slower printer than the L5535. We use Access 2000 as a front end to SQL. Reports that don't have a lot of data run fine on both printers. However, reports that are on 14.5 x 11 paper, with large amounts of data per page, do different things per printer. The reports will print fine on the slower printer, but on the faster printer the report will stop printing, the printer will back the paper up and then continue printing like nothing happened. This will happen numerous times during the print. It appears to me like a buffer is being filled and printed more quickly on the faster printer, which causes it to stop and wait for data to continue printing. Does anyone have a solution to this problem.
