Is there a convenient way to convert multiple facing pages set up as reader spreads into printer spreads? For example, a reader spread that links pages 1-2, 3-4, etc. to a printer spread that links pages 16-1, 2-15, etc. (for a 16 page booklet)? The "sort" pages in PM 7.0 seems only to provide a way to move complete spreads, not individual pages within the spread. The conversion requires splitting and moving the pages within the spreads. Without such a tool you have to group, cut and paste page contents onto a whole new document which runs the risk of text reflow, etc.

Hi,

The you wan't to do is Build Booklet. I am not on a computer with my pagemaker on it; so I can't give you the exact way to do it. If you cannot sort it out I'll give you an answer on monday.

Select Utilities>Plug Ins>Build Booklet... and then set up there.

You might be better off allowing your printer to use a professional imposition application to do the job.. they are set up to do it and their apps are better at it then PM's rather weak build booklet... thatis unless of course you are printing your booklet in-house. When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
