Printer Spooling

Anybody have a problem similar to this?

A one page MS Word document when printed local will spool in the print queue at about 100k. This same one page document printed through Metaframe XPs, will spool to the print queue around 1.6 MB. A print job that normally takes less than two minutes is taking more than a half hour.

The clients are printing to a NEC Superscript 1800 PL6.

We had the same problem...on the client..in Application set settings..check the box in default options to "use disk cache for bitmaps" sends the printjob to the client faster.
