I have a windows NT server with an Epson photo 1200 that for some reason disables the spooling service every couple of days. When I restart the spooler it just cycles through old print jobs and does not print.I purge all print documents and try to print again and the same problem returns. The only way I am able to fix it is to rename the drivers folder in the spooling directory then delete the printer and reinstall it. This is only a temp fix though, since the problem reoccurs every couple of days and I have to go through it again.

Dave's right. HP if famous for this as well. Some printers are designed to be local printers and end up getting "married" to the machine they are on. Others are designed to be networked.

You can look for newer drivers on Epson's website or you can get a newtwork capable inkjet.

If everything seems to be going well: you don't have enough information.......

Is this happening on your server or on your clients?
Samething happening here on my NT clients...Win 9/x clients print just fine.
