Printer speed on my dot matrix printer

I am trying to upgrade from the DOS version 2.4 of 123 and The printer speed in the windows version with a dot matrix printer is unbearable. I must use a DM printer for my carbonless forms (state requirement) how can I speed it up?

Could change it to Draft mode instead of LQ/NLQ [LetterQuality/NearLetterQuality].
