Printer Sleeping/Not working

I'm having problems with a system I have hosting a printer. When the system sits idle to long the printer will quit working. Someone actually has to go over to it and hit buttons to get the printer to work.

I've went into Power Management and set all the never and also turned off hibernation. This is a win XP pro system.

Any ideas?

i think it's still a power management issue.
when you say buttons, you mean buttons on the printer, or the pc?

The hit control alt delete on the PC.

I've went through everything on power management....have I missed a place.

Hi,
The printer most likely has its own Power Management settings as well..Use its menu to find and reset them..
