printer sharing

Have win 2k pc setup with a workgroup.
The win 2k shares a hp1200. When I try to add
the printer with an xp pro machine, the workgroup
shows up and the computer that's sharing the printer
but the printer doesn't drop down for me to choose.

Do I need to type the path in? Maybe I'm typing the path
wrong or something? Any suggestions?

Check the firewall settings for sharing options.

To type the path in it would be \\computer name\printer name. As an example for my print server it is \\NPEEDFE\NP_LPT1.
