I was sharing my printer on my network just fine until an update to Win98 se made my printer no longer available to others on the network. When I tried to re add printer sharing there is no gray box in Network neighborhood properties. Trying to add the sharing under new service yeilds a "system policies do not allow adding the selected device". Now I have no printer or file sharing capabilities. Any suggestions? Kiva [sig][/sig]

are you logged into the computer as a normal user profile, or do you even use user profile, also check the drivers for your network card (Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager) see if that's working properly, also try to enable it from Right-Click Network Neighborhood. also check to see if you are currently running ICS (which comes with the SE version) and see if that might be causing the problem.
