Printer Setups

How can I check how a printer is set up - ip address, print server etc. In other versions of unix you can check the printcap file.

It may vary with your version, but in 11.11 I use 'sam', System Administration Manager. There is a man page for it.

Thanks. I checked out sam and it's deprecated on our version. Should work though. Someone suggested lpstat -v and this does the trick.
