I have a server running windows 2000 with service pack 4. For some unknown reason the printer setup or anything having to do with the printer will not come up. So I can not print (I have not tried until now). Am I missing something or is this corrupt?
By the way I am not 100% sure if it is an actual server or not I am just using it as a MS Exchange server. Thank You and Happy Holidays. (Unless you are in NY in the transit strike, then good luck).

Check the printer spooler service is running:

1) Right click on My Computer and select Manage
2) Locate Services
3) Locate Printer Spooler
4) Double click on it and make sure it has started. If not press the start button.

Now try your printers again.

It was on. I restarted the service to try that too.
