Hi,

Can anyone shed some light on why a report set to print landscape should sometimes default back to portrait? I've set the paper size in the report settings, but still it does it... Surely this shouldn't happen??? Hmmm... ok, so maybe it's just one of those things, but a solution would be very welcome. *S*

Thanks, Jon. [sig][/sig]

Jon,

This is not a soloution, but at least a partial explination.

ANY change to a report - is likely to cause the report printer settings to revert to the defaults. Thus, if you add/delete/modify a control position, it will likely "reset' the printer settings to their default values.

It may be caused if you have multiple printers online. Ive seen it happen where a new printer is installed. Possibly under File-Pagesetup you could change the printer from Default printer to use a specific printer.

Thanks for tyhe input guys, most helpful. i can't use a specific printer as I have no control over what printer is used in reality.

Cheers, Jon
