One workstation in my office has an HP Laserjet 2300L connected via LPT1 and every time the computer is restarted Windows 2000 Pro redetects the printer as new hardware. I have attempted uninstalling and reinstalling, connecting via USB instead of LPT1, updating drivers on several occassions, contacting both Microsoft and HP for assistance and nothing has helped. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
