Hi @ all
What is the reason, that a Printer-Queue went down?
Is it a System-error or can I prevent, that the Queues
went down?
That might be well so, that some users call me on phone,
that they can´t print. 95% the Queueu´s went down.

Need some Informations to decrease that Problem!

Thanks for any Information

Is it a network printer(s)?? Then they probably can't connect for some reason.

On your Print Server, ensure there are no 'zero' byte files in the /var/spool/lpd/pio/@local/smit directory. If there are replace those file(s) with the same file(s) from another good working machine.

root@esso0es0070:/var/spool/lpd/pio/@local/smit # ls -l
