Hi,
i just curious that is it possible that to set up to print two different printers on either Unix or Windows OS?

Does anyone know how to set it up? Thanks

What do you mean by printing on two printers? do you mean creating a pool of printers with one printing queue? or having two queues for one printer?

Hi Khalidaaa,
One print queue and be able to print out two printers

Thanks

well, you can print on two printers with one queue (That's called printer pooling)

In AIX:

1. you first have to defind the printer queue normally:

a. smitty printers
b. Choose print spooling
c. Add a print queue

2. Then you use the created print queue from the above to creat an additional printer to this print queue

a. smitty printers
b. Choose print spooling
c. Add an additional printer to an existing print queue

That's it, you will be having two printers with one queue.

Regards,
Khalid
