I have a HP Deskjet 690c printer.I was printing when 2 papers got loaded at a time and the printer stopped working,so i manually pulled out both the papers, and now the printer is asking for the papers at the same loaded position as before, and not loading new papers. So now the printer just tries to detect the paper at the earlier loaded position and then as it does not detect them it does not reload new paper hence i cannot print. What can be done to sort out the problem?

Unplug the power cord from the printer to reset it. Then restart your PC and then plug the power cord back in the printer. See if that resets everything. You may have a print job that needs to be purged.
