hi,

this problem looks like a staircase printing problem which means the print is not sending a carriage return and the end of the print.

You can check the printer interface script to see what program it uses to print and whther there is an option to add CRLF or check on your printer to see if the option of CRLF is set.

Hi,

I think that your are having this problem because you haven't installed this network printer properly in the HP-UX server. You must install this printer with the device options enabled with it. I want to know what type of network printer is this. I can give you a example of a Ricoh printer, which i installed as a network printer in HP-UX. First of all I got the Installer setup files in unix for this printer from the manufacturer's site (Like here it is ricoh). Then it was a straight forward installtion afterwards.
So please give me details about your network printer so i can help you further. Hanwant Verma

thanks for the help:

I foundout that the Hp Laser Jet3 printer can't print the
postcripts, so I got a replacement printer laserjet4 and its working fine.

Thanks
