printer problem or ie6?

i still cant print when i click print for a web page. no errors - just doesnt happen. copy/paste will paste only text, does not include graphics of any kind. page setup and selecting an image will elicit no responce reaction for a web page, page only freezes up, click anywhere on page and get a ding. select end task for web page(did not show not responding)- and whole computer shuts down.
i run:
win98 1st ed
ie 6
lexmark z55 printer
every once in a while print preview shows a blank page or freezes also.
any help will be appreciated

What exactly does this mean? Please post details, as clearer posts get better advice. I'm assuming you mean you are pasting to a different program, such as word. I really don't know why, unless you are just trying to do this to print something for the time being...

Okay, first eliminate the possibility of spyware / virus. Update your virus scanner and scan. Install and update spybot. Then scan.

Do this and post back. Also, post back info with any recent changes. When did this start?
